We lived at Coffer's Ranch for a while and then moved into town. The house we lived in no longer exists. When I think of home, I still think of Beatty. | ||

We loved the paper and wish all newspapers were as open, frank, and to the point as The Beatty News. Our favorite report was about the Beatty Town Advisory Board but the Sheriff's Blotter was a close second. | ||

up in Beatty as a
child. The small
old town atmosphere
is something that I
always remember.
My dad was a
teacher, football
and track coach
while we lived
there. We lived
not far from the
old combined
school. I remember
walking to the far
side of town to eat
a burger and fries
at Elmers drive in
and listing to the
juke box when ever
I could. Those are
days that I truly
treasure and would
love to make it out
to Beatty again one
day now that I'm
retired from the
Air Force. GO HORNETS. | ||
